Come along and try making some clay creations for yourself!
All held at my studio at The Ferrers Centre, Staunton Harold, LE65 1RU (unless otherwise stated).
2024/2025
Christmas Workshops! Make your own hanging Christmas decorations- Wednesday 6th November, 7-8:30pm, Thursday 5th December, 7-8:30pm FULL, £25pp. Come and try your hand at making some of your very own hanging Christmas decorations. You can display them on your tree for everyone to see! There will be tea/coffee/mince pies available, the perfect festive evening out for you and friends!
Ceramic Plaque Making– 31st January, 10-11:30am, 12th February, 10-11:30am £25pp. Come and make a wall plaque with me! I shall show you the basics and from there, you can create a plaque for your garden, shed, room, wherever you like!
Fairy Doors– 29th January, 10am-12:30pm, 21st February, 6:30-9pm, £40pp. Fancy making your very own magical fairy door? Then you’ve found the right place. Come and let your imagination go wild! We shall make a door and window set for you to put anywhere in your garden/home to add a little magic and whimsy!
Mini Plant Pots– 1st November, 7-9pm, 28th February, 12:30-2:30pm, 26th March, 10am-12pm OR 6:30-9pm, £35pp. Come along and make your very own plant pot with me! This workshop is great for beginners and enables you to let your imagination go wild. We will be using stoneware clay and I shall take you through each step bit by bit. I shall take the pieces home at the end, glaze them in an oxide and fire them for you.
Three week introduction to hand building- 14th/21st/28th February, 10am-12pm, 28th March/4th/11th April, 6-8pm, £95pp. Come along and try your hand at some pottery! Over three weeks, we shall look at slab building, coil pots and pinch pots and how to decorate them. At the end, you’ll have three unique pieces to treasure!
All pieces made will be glazed and fired by myself and available to collect approximately three weeks after the workshop.
